I’ve always believed the best homes have a mix of splurge-worthy pieces that stand the test of time, paired with budget-friendly finds that keep things fresh.

I like to invest in furniture that will fit my style for years, and balance it out with inexpensive, trendier pieces I won’t feel guilty swapping out later. Normally I sell them Facebook Marketplace when I’m ready for something new, so it’s an even more budget friendly way to upgrade the space. I find this is the perfect way to create a home that feels both timeless and current, without overspending or feeling locked into one look forever.

Luckily, many high-end pieces have nearly identical budget-friendly twins, so you can mix and match saves and splurges to create a space that feels stylish, personal, and totally you.
